How to Open an Account in FBS MetaTrader4?
You can download the MT4 in two ways, either directly from the FBS.com by clicking the Trading option and selecting the platform to download or accessing your account in FBS and download the platform from trading platform option in your Personal area. To access the personal area you have to first create an account on FBS.
Open Account on FBS MT4
To set up an account you need to visit the FBS web page and click the Open Account button. After that, you have to follow the steps.
- Click on Google or Facebook button if you want to open your account through social networks.
- Provide the email address and full name to start registration on FBS.
- On next page, select the account type that you want to open.
- Select the MT4 option, currency and Leverage for your account. Enter the required information. Click Open Account button.
- On the next screen, your MT account details shown along with log in, password and server name and IP.
- Click on the Dashboard button and download the MT4 platform from trading platform area depending upon your operating system.
Download the exe installation setup and Click “Run” after opening the file. Read and accept the terms and conditions and install the MT4 application.
Setup MT4 Account
When you have opened up account with FBS. You will receive a detail email with the details that you have selected while opening the account on FBS along with the details of your log in and password of MetaTader4 account. Password will only remain valid for 24 hours and you have to create a new password if you setup the account with MT4 after 24 hours. Follow the below steps to setup the MT4 account.
- Open the Installed MT4 platform application.
- You can then see a pop up window containing the list of servers. Select the correct server from the window mentioned in the email that you have received.
- Then select the Existing account option. Enter the log in and password mentioned in the email from FBS and press enter. Now you are log in with your MTS account in your platform.
You can check your “Connection Status” in lower right corner. If it shows the green and blue column with your current internet connection speed. This means that server connection is established and you can trade now.
